A Fall Spectular!

Our busiest season is Fall. Fishing, Leaf Peeping, Hunting, Camping horseback Riding, ATVing and hiking, its all here.

First of all, fishing, they come up to spawn into the river and we have some spectular fishing in the fall here! The native brook trout are larger than spring time and more aggressive making for some fun fishing opportunities around the middle to the last of September. We suggest you watch your law book carefully for the areas you can fish, with use of artificial lures or worms.

Leaf Peeking: All our hard woods turn all colors of the palette during the middle to late September or early October (depending on the weather the dates are never the same) and what a show Mother Nature gives to us! A short ride from our lodge toward the St. Zackery Border, on the Golden Road and provides the brilliant colors of the sugar maples this time of year. The many ridges for about 20 miles on both sides come alive with excellent color! Some of the largest groves of sugar maples in the country, thousands of acres of trees putting on a show for all of us, don't miss it.

Fall Camping: Wake up each morning to the crisp fall air in our campground, over-looking Seboomook Lake and the Penobscot Rivers and if your fishing for that "prize trout", you only need to walk a short distance in front of your site to the river bank to go fishing for it. We offer camping by the season, month, week or daily, so we have a camping fit for everyone. The best thing if you don't want to cook just walk up to our lodge for a great lumberjack breakfast.
